Does The Volant Intake Use The Stock MAF?

Probably a nOOb question, but the Volant was on the car when I purchased it, so I don't know for sure.

Been getting Lean Codes for Banks 1 & 2 this week, and today I also got a MAF Low-Voltage Code.

If Yes, anybody got a good one for sale?

Is the volant intake a wet filter? Pretty common for people to oil the **** out of them and the oil gets on the MAF causing DTCS. Grab a can of eletrical cleaner from an autoparts store and clean it.

I have a K and N but I dont see any reason a volant would use a aftermarket maf

Yeah it's got a K&N Type filter on it which I cleaned and re-oiled back before Labor Day. I used the oil very sparingly(Because of the info I had read here) and it was fine up until this week.

Both banks lean and low maf code, Id be doing alot more before I toss a maf on it. Intake leaks cracked pcv lines etc. Spray around the intake with some intake cleaner to see if your idle raises

Would a dirty MAF cause the Low-Voltage Code?

I'll give it a try. Sounds like a possible chaep fix.

Problem Solved.

First let me say 'Thanks' for the suggestions. Always nice to have some help from those with some experience with these cars. Though, today all I needed to do was take a close look to find my problem.

This is my DD and I have no desire to mod it, therefore I never really lift the hood other than to check fluids/belts/clean stuff, and change the oil. If it runs and sounds normal - I'm happy.

With that said, I lifted the hood and found that my Intake Tube had seperated from the hose on the TB side, so I grabbed a screwdriver and put it back together. Cleared the codes, took it for a ride, no CEL's.

All is good - Thanks Again.
