I'm all for adding to the knowledge base, but just to be clear, there are PLENTY of write-ups on clutch (namely LS7) installs man. You just have to search. I have no less than 10 threads bookmarked for reference. Probably the most in-depth is the Monster install that's posted over at Caddy Forums, but there are many others with tips, tricks, and so on. There are also a few threads that attempt to compile all of these tips and tricks.
Oh, and the Ls7 "kit" can be had from Gripforce on eBay for that price all day. Comes with the LS7 slave for well under $600.
Again, thanks for adding your piece and I look forward to seeing it.

I'm pulling mine tonight. I was going to remove the transmission with the bell housing attached. Is that possible or do I need to separate them first?

Thanks

While it's possible, I'd recommend separating the trans from the bellhousing first just to make things easier. I had a hell of a time pulling the bellhousing...I don't even want to imagine having to do it with 150lbs hanging off the end.

That was right. Just the bellhousing sucked to remove by itself. No wonder theses weren't offered with an auto.

On a side note, it wasn't that bad getting to all the bolts, or at least I was expecting it to be awful before starting.
