Default Anyone ever have a problem with DSS?

I put down a deposit in April so Speed Inc. could order my driveshaft and axles from DSS and they still don't have them. My car has been sitting there for 3 weeks with no parts it sight. Anyone else have this problem with DSS?

I have used them for year on a wide variety of platforms never had a single problem. Just give them a call and see what's going on maybe they're out of material.

I know their german CV's are backordered for the driveshafts, they posted as such. Haven't heard anything about the axles.

You ordered through Speed Inc, and paid their markups, so get them to inquire. I dealt directly with DSS and had no issues. Took a little while but these are not on the shelf made parts, they have to be made and there is a process.

It's race season...they're busy. Patience, they'll get you fixed up.

His car is in the shop, unfinished, racking up storage fees waiting on this part. He's rightfully concerned and didn't come in here waving a torch and pitchfork.

I didn't see anything about storage fees but if your shop is charging you storage for a car they're working on that is waiting for parts they ordered, you need to find a new shop...

Does he have a right to be concerned? Never said he didn't fweasel...I was simply stating that they are reputable company at the height of their busy season.

They aren't charging me a storage fee. Business is business and I understand what time of the year it is. They charged me the same price DSS would have. The shop pays less than the general public (20% is the average markup) to make their profit. I brought them the CS mounts and Rev Shift bushings. I have modded many, many cars and this is the only one I had to ever wait for parts. I guess that's the price you pay when you have a rare car.
