A little off topic but can anyone tell me the dimensions of the OEM V badge? I got a V a few weeks ago and the previous owner had debadged it so i bought some off ebay and the color is off a bit which isnt that bad since i'd like to get some 8th day overlays but they seem a bit small to me.

awh man. did you buy the metal ones? the ones where you can feel the flags lines? If so they are waaay smaller. and they are fuuuugly. I have 2 sitting here I'm waiting to throw at someone. haha

i only have the fender badges. the rest of the badges on the entire car are gone.
saying that, i do like those. they just give me a little grief when i look at them and notice they're visibly faded from 5 feet away.

Unfortunately I did lol now I feel like taking them off. Do you have any idea where I can get some good ones at a decent price?

No it was this one.
But I did get with the Texas guys and they hooked me up with their manufacturer, I'll be getting some made.
I had 8th day make me overlays that look like this. But nothing meats an actual badge.
Before I order on insert. I'll be prying it out and checking If I can just black it out myself.

Bio shoot me your faded ones if you rip them off.
I havent seen for for any cheaper 75 Bux.

My '09 V badging looks great.
They are hanging on my reloading room wall.
Car gets more attention without the badging.
Everybody knows that only a modded V can sound that bad.

Why not go to a hobby store any get some little vials of paint....gold blue and red....probably all you'd need. Top with some clear.

Yeah that was me on the FS section trying to find some.
I finally got my inserts on the way, I can't wait to throw them on the car.
Bio248: if you take them off let me know wassup with them. I'll take 1 off your hands. I got the OEM new one in my Amazon shopping cart but I'm hesitant because of the 75 freaking dollars.
Black and red looks simple but I love it.
Gary Wells: them calipers alone give away the V
hefftone: I was thinking that if I remove them I can just scrape the coloring off the back and paint it however I want. but i didn't want to take the chance. I guess I'll find out when I remove them this Monday or so.
