Cool V2 Brake Rotor Options

What are you V2 V1 guys going for as far as Rotors?

1) Brembo Drilled

2) R1 Drilled and Slotted

3) What are the Grey ones I attached also I see them everywhere but I cannot find what they are.

Also I'm toooo Cheap for 2 piece. If you are running 2 Piece rotors, You are Balling IMO

Are there any 2-piece rotors available that haven't came apart on track?

Right now, I'm running the 2pc girodiscs made for the v1 and they've performed well at the track... If/when I run v2 discs, I'll probably just re-drill some slotted 1pc ones b/c of cost and b/c I'd have to re-drill v2 2pc anyway.

Drilled rotors crack if used on the track.

Go with slotted if you need to have some bling !

Same here, I switched up from the 2 piece Coleman/AFX setup at the beginning of the season to the 2 piece Girodisc.

So far, so good. I still have the 2 piece Colemans on the rears for weight tho until I can convince Girodisc to make a 2 piece for the rears...

Brembo sells two piece V2 rotors for a reasonable price: http://weaponxmotorsports.myshopify....front-complete

You can also get the OEM co-cast 2 piece rotors for about $230 ea. on rockauto

Girodisc told me they'd run 370mm rings for the v1 hats in batches of 10...I'd be in for a few pair if there are others interested too

Junior, I have the same Coleman 2pc rear discs. Do you know what the replacement ring part# is?

I don't believe I have it. IIRC Bob just listed them as Rear Brakes on the packing sheet. Best to give him a shout since it should be in the Coleman catalog.

I've been buying the Girodisc through Luke and have a full spare set of fronts and rears.
Considering that they have held up well, I would buy a set or two of just the rings and hardware. Would love to get them to make a set for the rear as well...

*EDIT* At last mention, Bob was going to sell just the Coleman rings and hardware as well:

"Front/Rear
$255 each Includes all hardware 12 bolts washers and jet nuts with "WC" slot pattern

$241 each Includes all hardware 12 bolts washers and jet nuts with "Straight" slot pattern"

You can get both significantly cheaper on Amazon. The 2 piece rotors (ACDelco 177-1145/1146) are currently running ~$520 for the pair, but they fluctuate in price. They've been as low as ~$400 for the pair in recent months. The co-cast rotors (ACDelco 177-1105) are about $185 each.

As for dead civic's options, if you're toooo cheap for the 2 piece rotors, why are you wasting money on slotting and drilling? You can get the Centric Standard plain rotors for $43 each on rockauto.

I've got to get some bling

the 2 Piece for 520, I'm going to be watching this tho. I usually run brembo Blanks. But not this time around.

EDIT: I guess I'm not too cheap for 2 Piece then.

Best price I found so far on those

Amazon.com: Brembo 33S60199 Brake Rotor: Automotive Amazon.com: Brembo 33S60199 Brake Rotor: Automotive

I'd love to know someone that can slot rotors like this guy did.

I'm running the cheaper Centric V2 rotors. They work fine for what I'm doing right now and are only $80 a piece from rockauto. My next set will be the two piece AC-Delco service rotors. I'm currently running the AC-Delco service pads as well.

yeah just fronts. I might hit them Brembo slotted, it's that or the R1 that have slott and drill.

I love the stock slotted ones in post 13. Anyone where they can get slotted like that, any machine shop? I searched on line for it but I didn't find anything.

EDIT: found a company called Boomba that does custom work on rotors. I might get mine to look like the DBA slot/dimple combo.

In that case, you don't want the ones that you linked to earlier, since those are rears.

Give us an idea of what they charge if you go that route.
