Wow, I have the regular craftsman and I have a HF in town at home. I really dont like the hassle of delaing with boards to be able to jack the car up. I never cheaped out on tools but I was a grease monkey for 6 + years. I kep all of my tools and now raraly need more for automotive (except for engine building which I am starting to buy now for the forged LS7 going in the V.

Bought a set of Race Ramps, and they are awesome..... Not the cheapest, but damn nice addition and living in earthquake country they just make me way more comfortable if I have to put the car up for an extended period of time. If I need to offload suspension can do it and have a "safety net".

Napa makes a really nice jack. It's not total junk like the new craftsman or harbor freight jacks. I have this one and use it on my truck and Caddy. It's extremely low profile (<3in) and extends high enough to lift up my lifted truck. It also has enough hydraulic grunt to get the job done. Release is extremely smooth and precise - it doesn't just drop the car down like so many other jacks.

Plus it comes with a 2 yr warranty. Price is very good for what you get.

I use this one (Arcan 3 Ton). Works good on my Lowered V.

Amazon.com: Arcan ALJ3T Aluminum Floor Jack - 3 Ton Capacity: Automotive Amazon.com: Arcan ALJ3T Aluminum Floor Jack - 3 Ton Capacity: Automotive

It's basically the same as the Harbor Freight one if not identical. I've had it for 2 years now and haven't had any issues.

Got them from Summit. They are the 67 inch length 2 piece ramps, 10 inch height. Don't have any pics of the car, but I'm on KWV3's. Not fully dumped, but car is pretty low. Can't get any jack under the front end without going up on a ramp first.

Ok, so i have the Arcan XL35 jack now, and it works well on lowered cars (Mine is lowered on Eibach springs and i have plenty of room to slide it under.

That being said, if i bought the jack again, I would go for the XL2T. the XL35 is just a little too short for the front jack point. It can get there, but the jack has to be perpendicular to the car, there is not room to angle it, with the XL2T you would have options on being able to angle it in.

I have a "certified" jack from Canadian tire...Canada obviously...pretty sure it's a regular height jack, I have to slip it in from under the rear bumper under the lower arm, jack it up and put a stand in. I'm on kws almost as low as it'll go within reason
