Carbon Fiber Rear Spoiler

Carbon Fiber Rear Spoiler
Some people have seen an interest thread I posted on another forum, but consider this thread my official posting
I manufacture composite parts, and am about to begin production for a carbon fiber rear spoiler for the V1 CTS. It is a flush mount design, nearly identical to the one seen here. It will be 1 piece made from 2x2 Carbon Fiber Twill. No fillers, no fiberglass core, 100% carbon. It will allow for a tape-mounted installation, or you'll be able to drill into the trunk to install using bolted hardware. I expect to be ready to go into production within the next 3 weeks from today. They will arrive cleared with a UV stable coating, and ready to install.
I'm going to sell these for $350 through my direct product lineup, but I'm going to offer them through a discounted group buy on this forum for $250 shipped to the continental 48. I am trying to get commitment for at least 10 orders. Not a financial commitment, just a serious list of who would be interested. Please keep the time frame in mind, we are talking about the next 3 - 4 weeks. As long as I can get at least 10 people, I'll then start another thread as a vendor and start taking small deposits (probably around $75 or so). I want to get at least 10 commitments, so that I can make all of these in one large batch.
These pics below are just to show some of my work. This is a roof panel for a Corvette. The carbon I use is what's seen below. It's a 15x15 high density weave that (in my opinion) is more aesthetically pleasing than the stuff most often used.

i've been wanting a delete panel with just a flip **** to use the "vent" position since i bought this car and figured out the sunroof does whatever the hell it wants to do instead of listening to the switch position...

My CTS is a base that I use as my beater, so I don't have a sunroof. I need either pictures of the sunroof area, or I'd need to get time to really inspect one in person...
Guys on the other forum were really pushing for a rear trunk, and a carbon front dash defroster panel. Once we finish with this spoiler deal I'll move to other parts.

No sorry this will be an OEM style replacement. I think you're almost referring to a "whale tail" style where the rear portion is extended. That requires a totally different design, which I'm not in a position to devote enough time to do.

Weight is going to be very low. I'll weigh it once the first run is complete but you should be expecting something that is significantly less than stock. Since there won't be any fiberglass or filler material in the laminate.
