Although a Camaro...Since I moved the battery to the trunk, it made a nice spot for the 6010 box.
With the old 406ci SBC the MSD box was on the inner fender and then after 5+ years went to the firewall.
I know some went in the glove box or under the dash using the correct grommet.

mine is under the dash on pass side too. can take the big bulky plug end off and just need about a 1 inch hole for the wires. then snap wires back in the plug using the msd plug to go by. very simple to do.

Just put mine on the passenger side fender. They aren't heat sensitive. I thought about moving it under the dash to clean up the engine bay and make the laptop port accessible when driving, but to tell you the truth I have only needed to adjust the tune when standing in the garage.

Stang_kllr sorry but I have to ask the question. What made you decide to mount it at the front of the engine there, which of course is right near coolant/fuel and would also be subjected to engine vibration/heat etc?

'73 Nova, mounted to the heater box inside the cab. Regardless the MSD recommended intake mounting: heat, liquid, and vibration are the enemy of electronics. It works perfect and I only had to lengthen the crank position wires (3 wires) but about 1 foot.
And it makes for a much cleaner, sexier and easier to work on engine compartment.

No problem on asking. 1.) my coils are relocated under the frame, off the valve covers, and the plugs were extended and run to the inside of the firewall, (because the previous owner moved the PCM to right behind the radio). so that made it hard for all the plugs to reach without buying extensions, or cutting and splicing. The wire going the the cam sensor isnt very long so i was limited on where i could route the box. 2.) MSD sells a kit to mount the box on the actual intake, so i dont see any issues with fuel/coolant/vibration coming up, unless i have a fuel/coolant leak which i dont intend to . 3.) i will be using the rubber bushings so that would take care of most of the vibrations. 4.) the car will not be a daily at all whatsoever. lol.

Alt Bracket
It is a bracket setup I designed to allow me to run an alternator without the power steering pump and stock truck bracket. The triangle bracket mounts the camaro alternator "craddle" bracket to the head and spaces it the necessary .75" to align with the truck belt spacing. It worked very well for 2500 miles. But over this winter I am converting to power steering. But a lot of people have been interested in the design...maybe I should start a little side business....hhhhmmmm

87 Fox Notchback. Mounted behind the console, where the airbag computer was. Even with all the factory junk under there should still be enough room for the MSD. Don't have my engine in it, but it's lookin like there is just enough harness to run out where the factory ECM harness hole in the firewall is.
