Default any Vic Jr to super Vic square port comparison yet?

Surely somebody has made some passes comparing these things? I bolted a 2 inch spacer on mine to try on mine tomorrow. Will report. Its not a quality spacer, just a cheapo, but will see how it compares to the 1 inch 4 hole. I want to see some Vic Jr, super Vic before and afters

I just have a 4150 Vic Jr right now. Wanting to try a super, but waiting for results of others. Martin said the spacer should help a lot. We will see tomorrow.

In for results of spacer. By the way, your car seems like about one of the best performers to be doing to the Super Victor comparison! Although I think ported heads will possibly see the best gains with the intake.

Thanks. I have spent a lot of time trying to get it where it is.

When they tested an LS carb intake with different spacers,
it made such a small difference that they didn't even bother with posting the results.
They did mention that the 4 hole spacer caused the carb to do some funky ****..

Of things go right, between gears, new Trans and converter, and then some ported 243/799s, I'll be trying to get closer to you. But the rectangle ports are where it's at I think. Lol. Otherwise I'll have to gut my car. It is a street car so that's not happening.

That would have gave me the loss. It should have ran a 28 on that pass.

So you ran a 6.31 without the carb spacer letting off? And your previous best was a 6.34 with the Vic Jr and spacer? Seems like the intake is working great.

No previous best was 6.34 with 1 inch 4 hole. Put the 2 inch open on it and ran 6.34 off the trailer with a 1.38 60ft. next run ran a 6.30. Last round of time trials. Then, 1st round of eliminations it went 1.351 60ft, i had the guy tree'd, and pedaled on the end, lost 5mph, took the win with a 6.31 on the 6.29 dial. It was definitely on a break out pass. never cut any lights worth a crap the rest of night, went out 3rd round.

If I can get the driver right, I will be fine. I have only been out twice this year because we just had our new Daughter, but hope to get some more practice in.
