Arrow Seat Swap Opinions Please!

Found a complete set of '01 Bird seats I'm considering putting in my Polo Green, Black Top '95 z28 Convertible. They are "camel", with unusual black trim. See pics below. They have power lumbar and just by design are more comfortable seats. The seat belt guides would need to be removed as they are not used in the vert. The problem is I have a beige interior now and the carpet and upper leather door panels are "beige" (much lighter). I think for it to look right I'd have to change out the carpet (which is in excellent shape) to black and either change the door panels to black or find OEM leather and have the upper portion of the door panels redone. I figure I'd never find the '01 Bird door panels and not sure they would fit anyway. The other problem with '01 door panels is my interior is graphite and not ebony or black. Seat trim will blend okay but the dash flows into the door panels and the door panels flow on into the side rear panels and they WON'T match.

Anybody got any thoughts, comments, etc?

They'll fit, and if you want, you could cut a slit at the top of the seat belt guides so the seat belt can come out of the guides. That's how the later model Camaro convertibles were.

Thanks, I hadn't even considered the slit, and as a matter of fact I'll have to look at the pics closer, they may already be. AND its a real pain in the *** reaching for them now. That would certainly solve that.

Well, the coupes didn't have the slits, just the convertibles if that helps.

+1

You won't find a seat that is more supportive from an Fbody either!

these would look pretty badass against your interior. the downside is they get pretty pricey.

^wow those look nice. any specific years on those seats or are they 97+?

im going to through something in on the mix up...i was wondering a few wks ago when looking at the plug underneath my non-powered driver seat; could you tap in that source for heated seats?

besides the seats, loose tail(suspension, and 10 bolt) i love my car

edit: to the op, polo green with camel interior would look great
