Talking Finally! My 2000 Z28

Hello all, I figured i would put some pics of my 2000 Z28 that i bought a few weeks ago. Its been a long time coming for me to have this car, been through a lot to finally get this. I have had a 1978 Z28 that i built, sold that to get a 1995 Z28 that got stripped by thieves years ago. Ended up selling the shell and kept a few parts that werent stolen from that one. Since that freaking disaster i been driving a little honda civic, it killed me but i had to do it. I always said i would have another 4th gen. So here it is, this car needs some love but it is a solid foundation 102,000 miles and all stock except for a flowmaster which is getting thrown in the trash here soon lol. Its the exact color i always wanted and its got the ebony interior which was a must have for me too. Only downside is its an A4 car, i really wanted the M6 but they were scarce around my area and the few i looked at were beat to hell so i settled. I love this car! Finally something to be proud of and that i WANT to drive lol. I have plans to ditch the wheels for some 18x9.5 front and 18x10.5 rear C6 Z06 wheels, lower it, get some factory headlights and do the whistler mod or Depo ones, headers and SLP LM1 exhaust, Lid, and LS6 Intake and PCV. Further down the road i would like to do a cam as well. But for right now, I am enjoying it as it is

Congrats on finding your car, looks like it's in nice shape. Definitely do the wheels first, the stock 16's were a typical GM Malibu/Impala look. I couldn't wait to get them off my 02. As far as the exhaust, do some searching on here before buying. Most will tell you that headers and LM1 is quite loud and raspy.

thank you! yeah i actually painted the wheels a dark silver in an attempt to help them look at least a little better until i get the new wheels lol. I definitely will look around before the final decision on the exhaust.

Congrats! It looks like a very nice car. My first f-body was an ‘00 Camaro in that same color, it looks amazing freshly waxed in the sunlight.
