Default what cam?

I have a 99 z28 ls1 and looking to get a cam soon. Current mods are below and I'd like to turbo or spray somewhere down the road. So I want to see what would gain me the most hp and gain best 1/4 time with current AND future mods.

Fast 90-ported
92 ptm tb
Super sicker ram air
Powerbond ud pulley
1 7/8 tsp headers, cutouts and dumps before axle
Lid/bellow
Frost tune

You do realize a cam that's good for n/a and occasional nitrous use is going to be different for a turbo right?

Yea and I'm not partial to either . Both have pros and cons but the price difference is crazy.

From your sig;you have nitrous so you know the system is most likely under $1,000. Turbo...proharger systems $6-$9k

Ok but what I'm saying is if you choose nitrous you want a good n/a cam, but if you do a turbo you'll want a cam that will be much different and specific to a turbo

I understand. So I guess what would be a good one for each of them?

You're really best off going with one that is specific to the application that you are going with, because a cam that's good at both with not be best for each specific one. So as long as you understand that then I'd contact places like Tick Performance, Texas Speed, etc...They will find you the best compromise. On a side not I have a buddy who is going to run his 228r cam in his new turbo build. I've heard this is a good all around n/a cam that does well with moderate boost and nitrous builds
