This guy is trying to tell me that some camaros/firebirds came with a 6 spd AUTO stock . I've told him that they had 3 diff trannies total - 4l60e (4 spd auto), t-5(??, v6 5spd) and the t-56(v8 6spd). Any help guys?

The t-56 is the 6-speed manuals. The 6-speed autos are what they are strapping to the new c6 vettes.

Chevy has a great Alison Transmission that they are using with the Duramax Diesel. It's a 6 speed manual with a paddle shifter. I don't know how heavy it is, but it sounds nice. For those of you who don't know, Chevy makes the M1 Abrams tank. They put the Alison Transmission in that 70 ton beast.
