Nice looking Z28. What year LS1 engine did you put in? Nice looking intake. Is it a 90/90?

Not sure what "exact" year the engine is, GM sent me the new crate motor in November.
They said it was the one with the re-designed or re-positioned heads.
I kept the intake at a 78/78 Fast combo since the motor itself is completely stock.

Nice ride. Good choice on the car over the girl. Cars won't cheat and they won't leave you!

Thanks guys for the welcome, comments and especially the honesty!
I enjoy peoples opinions and how they would tackle things.

The hood didn't get painted as I wanted it to help the "blacked out" look I was going for and I thought painting it would take away it's uniqueness...

I accept the fact that people are going to think it's ricey though and don't blame you for thinking that...

The clearance is great and fitting just as good.
The entire hood is real carbon fiber, with a strong skeleton underneath so hood pins are not needed.

The one thing I overlooked is the OEM hood struts.
They are WAY too strong for this light 15+ pound hood.
