just a slightly off topic comment. i heard someone on this forum or a similar one say that ron davis radiators were twice the radiator as other brands. this is somewhat confusing considering it costs three times as much. the math doesnt add up. just my 2 cents

So you're saying we have to use a 1/2" spacer between the frame and the frame mounts to lift it up high enough ??

Where did you guys get your spacers cut ?? Local machine shop ??

I am not sure where you go the idea you need a spacer. The instructions say slot the crossmember bolt holes. It does not say anything about a spacer.

I misunderstood what "Slotted" meant.

maybe someone here can help me.. 69 chevelle ls1 - t56 swap.. I have hooker adapter plates (standard location) and short/wide mounts (even though my engine was a 307--yes very strange) the trans is a brand new tremec t56 magnum. the dilemma im having is setting my driveline angle. most people on here are flipping their trans mounts, but mine without flipping it is exactly at 3 degrees (rocker panels at zero degrees) the issue is ill have to remove my floor brace and it doesn't seem like many people are doing so.. please help!!

My build actually uses the Richmond 6 speed, not the TKO, in case anyone cares.
