Haha me too, that would be my ideal toy garage.

Congrats on the 8 sec pass, that is getting it done!

Were you running pump fuel and water meth on the 8.79 pass or switch to race gas?

Thanks man!

C16, Its not worth it for me to say I did it on pump gas. Fast pump gas cars have been done and proven. When I street drive the car its on 16psi and pump 94 with meth which is plenty useless haha.

I completely understand, was just curious. Haha I bet, even my little 5.3 with 14 psi on the street is pretty useless.

Default 6.0 4l80e swap

Did you chevelle require any major fab work to get that 6.0 4l80e installed. Do you have a parts list that you can supply. I'm about to begin the process on my 71 chevelle really soon. Thanks

The trans tunnel is the lamest part about running the 80e. If you can cut tin and weld a little bit, you are golden. haha

The new Holley forward mounts allow for relatively easy installation of a 4L80e wth just minor clearancing.

PS dont forget to put your hood pins in!

Hood, fenders, hinges are at the scrap yard now.

Holy ***** that sucks. Was always scared that might happen once I got a lighter hood, glad I went ahead with the hood pins.
That's a cool lower valence/ splitter/ whatever though, what kind is it.

Nooooo, damb dude that sucks. Like you said though, gives you the opportunity to hang some lightweight stuff up there.

Do you have any pictures of how you split the downpipe into the two exhaust pipes you have running out the back of the car?

This has got to be ages too late.. but you didn't happen to keep those twin 67's instead of selling them off, did you?

I don't have a log manifold setup on my 70 chevelle, but my turbo is still placed on the passenger front. I managed to run a 4" downpipe on mine, but I had to dent the downpipe to clear the back of the exhaust manifold and the frame. I will see if I have a pic to add.
