I am planning a single T6 log setup similar to yours. I have heard tuning is more difficult since you don't have separate bank O2 readings. Did you have any issues with this?

That is true for sure, however I have not had an issue with tuning.. If you want to get creative, a T6 offers a fair bit of real estate for piping, you could do a twin scroll deal. Id like to try that one day.

I assume that the log side bank readings are inaccurate but for the most part making both banks the same is the way to go??
Here is the log I would like to use but I am not sure if it will fit under my hood so I am looking into fabricated T6 logs as a backup. I really would like a T6 just in case I want more power in the future, but that probably wont happen, right?

Correct, nature of the beast. Not ideal for sure but such is life haha.
LS1 Chevelle,
Awsome work. What gauge aluminum did you use? Do you recall what your settings were when you tigged lt? I need to weld up my CAI soon and I refer to have a starting point.
I was finally able to play with the car at the track. Moved the trans cooler to up front(was under car before), changed the a1000 fuel pump to a magnafuel 4302 .
Running high 8's is no joke, especially in a heavy car. Every time you update your thread I want to go with a mild turbo set-up in my GTO and a 4L80E...
I really need to ride in a car with a well sorted out automatic, because I have a perception that they drive as if there is a giant rubber band between the engine and the rear end, and that's probably not the case.

Funny you say that because when I look at your thread I wish I could build another with trick parts like yours.
A well sorted auto is a blast to drive. In a perfect world Id have a duplicate car with a smaller turbo and a 6 speed for daily driving/weekend street duty haha. I do enjoy the auto, its quite fun
Your rig has come a lonnnggg way since way back when I bought your homemade cold air intake off of the stock LQ4 setup you had... how "streetable" is the car now? Prettymuch a drag car with plates to make it easier to get to the strip, or do you cruise and joyride it a bunch? Drive to work?

Trick parts are over rated sometimes. I think a 5.3L with a small turbo, making 550rwhp and having instant torque would be a blast with a well sorter out automatic. It sure would be a little easier on parts.

Ive put 1000km on it this summer. It drives AWESOME. doesn't overheat. Sit in traffic at 180f. I drive 160km to work(there and back) so I dont drive it to work, but I will hop in it after work and drive 30km to my friends shop to hang out.
The one thing I miss is the 80e so chances are I will put a gear vendors in it.
Time flys hey?! I remember that intake! Good memories, NA 6.0l, 2:73 gears with an 80e. Loooonnnng legs in 1st gear haha.

Very true! I think I will end up building a more long trip friendly vehicle with my old 6.0l, 550rwhp and call it a day. Put a fuel system in it that doesn't allow me to turn it up haha

That's going to be a bit annoying when you decide that you need more.. even for longer trips!
When you're getting into the boost in the summer, what temps do you reach?

lol, its the only way I can maintain a reliable turbocharged daily driver if I move forward with it.
If I get excited and beat on the car coolant temp will climb to 200-210 but cools off pretty quickly from a pull while coming back down to cruising speeds. IATs range from 70-110 depending when I get on it and meth mixture that is in the tank.
