Default another third gen Camaro started

I finally had some major ambition this week. Got the old wheezer motor out, swapped k-members and it's ready for the LS now. Might have it in this next week. I've been doing all the work with no help so it's taking a while!!

underneath. You can see the k-member, the rack and the spohn arms. I have the coil-overs ready too but waiting until the motor is in before I set it back down again..... oh and the UMI trans k-member and adjustable torque arm. Can't really see the 9" well but it's back there along with all the rear suspension thats been changed.

it's been a great couple of day for me to get this much done in only a few hours of REAL work. I hope to have the LSx motor in by the end of the week if all goes well. If not, the holidays are coming!! Thanks for all the good advise tossed back and forth here. It's really helped out a bunch in getting me pointed the right direction!!

the car has always been a garage queen since new.....I'm the only owner it's ever had. That's factory paint on it too. At 100k miles I decided to replace a failed fuel pump(for the second time) got pissed at the car and it's been on from there. I really felt bad about it at first but now it's too far to turn back. I can't wait to hear it run. I'm using a 98 LS1, stock bore(pretty much stock bottom end other than rods and rod bolts) it's got a REAL good set of 98 heads(been CNC'd and cut) and nice big camshaft(hmmmm, how's 595/605 sound?) a victor jr. intake and a 750 mighty demon. I also got the stainless works headers for it too. The trans is a TCI piece with full forward manual valve body and a 4200 stall nitrous converter. I got the UMI double adjustable torque arm with divorced bracket(keeps it off the tailshaft) and k-member with the driveshaft loop. I'm running a Moser 9" with a billet spool and 3.90 gears(will probably need more gear) so it should be reasonably street friendly. With any luck I'll have the new motor back in in a few weeks and start wiring and plumbing the rest of it. I picked up my new TCI flexplate this morning($$$ OUCH!!) so I can bolt it all together. It'll be nice to hear it scream through the duals, x-pipe and spintecs(already built) should have a nice rumble to it!! Thanks again for the compliments and help with advise to ALL you guys. I certainly don't mind critisism either...makes me think!!

Sounds like an awesome build. Keep up the good work and it should be screaming pretty soon.
