Default Can some tell me what sensor this is?

Its a 5.3 engine out of a 2003. the is a 3pin connector behind the engine underneath the map sensor. not sure if its the cam sensor thats next to it.

if it goes into the block in the back, held on with a bolt, prob the cam sensor
should be an oil pres sensor close to it
but a pick would be nice

i got the cam one on. i knowfor sure. did the oil pressure one go back to the ecu or straight to the dash?cuz my harness doesnt have a plug for it.

the oil pressure connector is just one wire. the only sensors back there are cam postiton, oil pressure, and the connector for the knock sensors. a pic would do us wonders in helping you. your question doesnt make sense either. is the sensor 3pinned or do you have a connector that is 3pinned that you need to know where it goes?

yeah, i got the cam one and the knock sensors soit has to bethe oil one. can i just run that single wire to an electrical gauge?

Oil pressure gauge. Remove it and use an adapter to add the correct sender for your gauge. That one is just for the stock GM gauge

So you don't need the stock oil pressure gauge for PCM functions? Like fuel cut-off if pressure drops?
