Default LQ4 Power Steering Pump Lines

What is the third line for on the LQ4 PS pump? I've got a pump from a 2001 Silverado, and it's got 2 low pressure lines (see pic here) in addition to the high pressure threaded fitting. Can I simply block one off and run the LP line to the other?

2 low pressure lines, to and from the power steering fluid cooler?
Oops, they are right, hydroboost. I've got one LQ9 without the brake booster vacuum line. It has the 3 port pump.

hydroboost, I have that 'extra' line T-d into my reseviour line, I was told it could be capped off.
and last night my high pressure side compression fitting blew out and now I have to clean up the engine bay....I will be having a new line made and might try blocking it off, that is one less hose in there....

One more question - does it matter which nipple I run the low pressure line to? I had to hack the lower (longer) hard line to fit the pump in the car, but the upper still has the barb fitting and is easier to run the hose to.

I did not find any fluid in that 'extra' line....just removed mine after I had a PS hose failure so I would try to get that lower line working....
