removing wiring for electronic transmission
i cant find anything on what wiring i need to remove on my 2002 5.3 harness since im going with a th350. Im in the middle of pulling all the rest of the wires off but im not sure what to do about the 4l60e connections. Any help would be great.

You must retain the VSS wiring if you stay EFI. Either swap the tailhousing for a large VSS style or get one off a non-cable 700R4. If neither option is available, use a differential mounted reluctor from jagsthtrun
If this is in a 4th gen or pretty much any GM car with ABS, use a wheel sensor and ignore the above. The down side is ABS will no longer function

I agree with Pocket. Put the connector in a zip lock bag and tie it up out of the way. Also, I would leave the 4L60E. Why not take advantage of overdrive.
