Default Move that Alternator??

I need to move my alternator from under the PS to above it...(this is an 2004 GTO LS1).

I need it to look like this...

If I get the bracket for the C5 Corvette, will the alternator and power steering pump bolt up and still line up with the rest of the GTO drive? This would be cheaper than the Kiwi.

I also have to move the AC up but I'm looking at some old threads on moving it up with Kiwi bracket.

Thanks

No, as the Corvette mounts all the belt-driven components closer to the engine. You would also need to switch to the Corvette balancer and A/C drive.

I have these available for the gto & f-body engines. But it relocates it to the passenger side head. Uses the oem alt and hardware.

That's cool! Do you have the ability to move the AC compressor over to the driver's side??

Sorry no I don't. I didn't have to move my A/C when I developed this. I think kwik offers the best economical solution if the a/c requires relocation.

Those kwik brackets will put the alternator pretty much anywhere you want it and they have a version to work with all the belt spacings. Price seems hard to beat too.

Wish they were available when I did mine.
