Ls headers in a stock clip nova
For those interested in LS headers to fit the stock clip in a 62-67 Nova I will be taking a shop tour tomorrow 1-22-10 at a stainless header manufacture that is going to make headers exclusively for Church Boys Racing LLC.
What I would like to do is offer a "Group Buy" to anyone that would like to have one of the first sets available. These will be discounted for only the initial "Group Buy" after that they will be at full retail.
If you are interested please send me an Email or P/M. When I talk to them tomorrow I would like to give them an Idea of how many initial headers we will want, this will greatly dictate the initial cost/discount.

Primary size 1-3/4
collector 3"
band clamping system with "V" band upgrade option
O2 bungs will be in place
100% stainless
Motor mount/plate location is in the "Standard" position. The lower bolt hole for the motor mount shares the same hole as the lower front bolt hole on the mount plate.
Ground clearance is a must and will not hang lower than the transmission.
I have the Group Buy price send me a PM or call for the price.

Are these the headers that wont clear the stock steering box and you have to add a $1800.00 rack and pinion conversion kit to your stock front end. I think I will stick to my Heidts front end.

Well Stainless Works are moving right along. Everything has been mocked up, and will soon be able to start bending the actual tubes for placement in the car.
Instead of making due with what they already have for tooling Stainless Works has purchased a special bending die for the tight bends that are required to fit this clip. It would have been easy to over look a small detail like that but, this just shows how in tune they are, with the quality of the finished product!
By the end of next week we could possibly have some photos of the headers in the car and bolted up.

When purchasing the CBR stainless headers by Stainless Works you will also get the proper motor mount plate needed to position the engine in the same place that we did while making these headers.

How about for a wagon?
Can I be the CBR wagon test mule...
I didn't get to thank you over on SNS, but the headers are pretty much AWESOME. I'm looking forward to make things work out.

A little update on what we have been working on. These will be a set of Stainless Shorty headers that will accommodate the Stock Steering in a 62-67 Nova as well as the rack/pinion equipped cars.
