Default 5.3/4l60e "for the future" build

ok.. so a small intro... I have a 84 silverado that came with the 305/700r4 set up, I had dream with a truck just like this since I was a kid, so just a little over a year ago I bougth one... and it didnt take long to start dreaming again... the truck was painted 2 months after I bought her... and now its time to do the most needed and anticipated hearth transplant to take this old truck into the Future years.this I hope shouldnt take me more than 8 weeks to finish.. I know its a long time, but I am a over the road driver and can only work at it about 10 hrs a week.... I first want to thank everyone that has done it before for taking the steps and making it easier for us to follow....ok enough enough I bought a low mile 5.3 and even lower miles 4l60e so here she is

I thought this thread was going to be about putting a LSx into a DeLorean.

thanks,, thats pertty much the way it was, actually the paint wasnt that bad, but there was a guy that owed me some money and he made me a offer to paint it at his paint and body shop in exchange for the $800 he owed me, I thought he was kidding, but he did it and not jus that but he took the paint to bare metal , and spray some expensive proxy black primer, then paint,, he did a real good job and I felt I should pay him some for the difference but he didnt accept any $$$$$....
I will post more pics when I get home sometime friday..........

actually as of right now.. all I have done is installed the engine into the truck, re worked the harness, I am waiting to get my pcm back, and right now I am researching the fuel system stuff,, I am going to run a inline pump with the vette filter, but LOST in the FUEL LINE FITTING WORLD there is too many is little confusing.. I have a question thread in the fuel system forum,, just no one has answered yet... i did order some 6an braided line and some fittings but dont know if they are going to work or not till I get them

one is the hard to get vette filter to 6 an quick connect fitting, one the vacuum hose from brake booster to back of the intake, and one is a 6 an to 6 an , ,
