1999 firebird, 5.3 lm7 engine swap question im swapping out the 3.8 for a 5.3 from a 2000 surburban and i was wondering if anyone knows if the truck intake will work with the swap cause of the clearence issues with the cowl/firewall since the intake is taller

ok, what about the v6 tranny can the bell housing be swapped out for one that fits
iim trying to keep the cost as low as possibe but at the same time di it right without rigging things

im doing a simiar swap except into my 94 trans am but since its an lt into an ls i need pretty much all the same things can u make this a build thread to help me out a little.

Truck intake is tall. gonna say it will not fit under a stock hood. Also get the LS1 accessories. Having the alternator up top looks terrible in a car especially with a car intake
