What is the most HP a person can make with a stock 6.0L short block and the best factory LSx heads??
Has to be done with a carb and no N2O.

What I hope is that I can use a stock 6.0 shortblock, add a pair of 799 or 243 heads, swap the cam, add a Super Victor intake and a carb to produce as much HP as I can to reach into the 10's with a 3100lb 1970 camaro.
Not sure exactly how to get there but that is what I want to do if it is possible without having to flycut the pistons or use N2O, I'm not sure it can even be done but I would like to try. So any help would be greatly appreciated.

Ran a new PB today 9.871 at 136.80, went 137.33 on another run,
Stock bottom end 6.0/LQ4 with unported L92's, HR cam and carb.

What do you think about finding a cam to run like that without having to flycut the pistons and not running N2O??

I do not run nitrous, :-)
less cam=less hp, probably same torque at lower R's though...

Is there an easy way to tell me how to fly cut the pistons while they are still in the block??
Just wondering just how that is done and how you know how much to cut and when to stop cutting
