Default What gauges did you run in your conversion?

I currently have zero gauges and am looking to order a set from Summit or Jegs.
I'll be buying a Speedo, Tach, Oil press, Volt, water, and maybe a fuel gauge.

I'm running a 2000 LS1 with a 4L60e trans along with a 2000 pcm with a stock z28 tune.

I was curious what you have run, where you ordered etc.. looks like I can spend anywhere from 200-800 bux on gauges. Was hoping to get a set for under $350 if possible. Been looking at auto-meter mostly..

I've also been considering the Diablo Trinity, because you can run like 20 gauges on it along with all the other diagnostic, program and tuning stuff. Im just not sure if I need it or if its worth it for my application.

Dang, just went to their website. Real nice stuff. You must have some coin into that setup. How much did you invest in that setup, meaning did you need other stuff other than the dash kit?

any chance you got some pics?

For the dash no, direct fit...... plug and play, I used my own wiring......

The donor car I pulled the motor out of had kook headers on it... They would not fit my car so I sold the kooks for $650($1000 retail), then used that doe to buy the dakota dash...... Its pretty cool... I priced the Autometer gauges first and it was going to run me around $500-$600 so I said fugg it... I always wanted the digital dash, and it looks cool....

I will post pics....

I disaasembled the gauge pod from my 99 SS donor. Cut apart the face plate (with gauge motors) and reconfigured them to fit my dash. Mounted the printed circuit board behind the dash with jumper wires to the gauge motors. Looks cool, cost $20 in plastic materials to build the dash, and might even work! Plan to put power to it and fire up the car on Saturday.
