Default for those of you who have done the 2nd gen f body swap

hey,

i have a few questions. I just picked up a 2001 ls1, and i'm gettin ready to drop it into my 79 t/a that came to me with an olds 455.

-can i use the olds 455 frame mounts?
-which holes do i mount the clamshells in, i know there were multiple holes for different engines during the 70s

i'm lookin to get carshop plates, as from what i've read they seem to be the best, but i'm also looking to get the edelbrock headers. so shouldi go carshop plates, or buy the edelbrock plates?

thanks in advance

I just started my LS1 swap into my 1980 Z28 and I'm using the spohn mounts. I was wondering if the f-body pan would fit. I'm going to go ahead and try to set it in and see, hopefully sometime this comming weekend.

I honestly don't know like I said I used the edelbrock headers and plate. I also used a cts-v pan. The LH8 pan hangs way too low about 3 inches below the crossmember. If you want the spohn mounts let me know.
