just found out as of May 3rd 2011 that the Long beach HAN is no longer an event. Next year HAN Reno/sparks will be moved back to its org, 1st tuesday of august.

YEAAAAAAAAAAA good news for us.

got a new dis in the buick today have to finish hooking it up. lol SOOOOOOOOOOOOO Happy.

Yeah, lots of good news on the HAN front. Bruce Walter the CEO resigned, and now the mayors of both Reno and Sparks are on the HAN board so maybe Han and the cities will work together and keep this great event going. I'll be up there on Tuesday, the wife coming up on Wednesday. My buddy Corky bought another car (72 Cougar convertible) so he is back in the game. It's gonna be a good year.

yea i just saw that today & got excited lol. I hated the fact that long beach took first dates.

Got a couple of things left to do on the skylark before it ready to go. Seats need new pads plus husband just won, heater set for the seats lol. so we will have heated seats in the vert lol.

Plus the buick, which We hope to have the seats done & the new dist done in it by the time we leave for reno lol

2:30 will work, We are missing a couple of the guys from our group. the 67 Camaro with the LS1 is not coming down, I think he was having engine problems.

We actually went to that. It was pretty fun, although it was a very early 100* day. Got the car signed by the Camaro guys from GM. Hopefully, 20 years from now people will pop the hood and get a kick out of seeing that it was signed when it was basically brand new.

It's a Synergy Green RS/SS to go with the '68 which is Rallye Green. Both are 6 speeds. My Dad just loves it, too. I've tried to get him on there, but he's just not much of a forum guy, I guess. Maybe he'll be more enthusiastic when he's ready to start modding the car in earnest.
