08 ly6 in a 2000 Sonoma
Started gathering parts for my swap.
Custom Longtube headers, 1 3/4" primaries 3" collector
Ls3 intake and Tb
08 ly6 out of an Express Van with 8100 miles.
The engine has a broken intake manifold, Bent PS and Waterpump pulleys a a few coilpacks,
Can this piece be replaced on the intake? So I can sell it?

Tore the engine apart some more since it was so nice out for a change.
Looks like crap but its just flaky carbon or something, whatever it is it vacuums right up.
Got a fbody waterpump and 1 1/2" spacers
Found a crack in the valvecover! The cover was orginally crooked with 3 out of the 4 bolts bent so I was surprised that it wasnt cracked but not surprised anymore. Haha.
^ the piece sticking up is the torn gasket

Cleaned the pistons a tad
Also ordered the:
Clutch kit
Cam kit
Head and cam install kit
Arp rod bolts
underdrive pulley
2 ls3 intake valves
Various bolts and gaskets
Got a 2.2 powersteering pump, vette pwr steering pressure hose, vette tensioner and various bolts coming from a friend that works at a autoparts store.
Should have everything I need to get the engine back together, until I find out more stuff I may need.

I swear that the ups man is better then santa! Heres some goodies he dropped off.
PRC .675" double valvesprings, retainers, springs seats and valve stem seals
Texas speed pushrods
TSP vvt-2 cam ground by comp
You can see the holes in the 2nd journal for oil to pass into the cam for the phaser
Phaser limiter to keep the valves from hitting the pistons, incase the computer doesnt react fast enough.
Timing cover seals and water pump gasket
Vette dipstick and powersteering resivour
Powerbond 25% underdrive pulley and dampener bolt
Dampener install tool.
Head gaskets
2 ls3 intake valves that I needed yet
ARP2000 rod bolts
GM headbolts
This is what an extra bedroom is for.

I just picked up a radiator from Jegs for my LS1/S10 swap and it's top notch. I got the Jegs brand universal fit 28x16.5 and it's a beast. Dual 1" rows and tig welded tanks with a billet filler neck. I was very impressed for $160. I trimmed the intrepid fans to fit it today and it was a piece of cake.

No pics yet...I've still got to notch my frame to fit the AC so I can drop the motor all the way in. It's 16.5" tall at the top of the filler neck so I don't see why it won't fit inside the front support with a notch around the neck like most do anyway. The one Bcool sells for the V8 swaps in the s10s is 17" tall just for reference.

Is the outlet and inlet of that radiator both on the same side? Im going to go with the one that Current performance makes since it is a direct swap in with no cutting but you definately pay a hefty price for it.

Heres some pics of the weekend.
TSP VVT-2 on left stock on right
Inside workings of the phaser. The gear is part of the outer shell and the cam is attached to the inner part with tabs that when rotated bottom out on the walls. You can see the limiter block I installed in the lower chamber to the left of the pivot bolt of the outer cover.
Arp rod bolts on some of the rods.
Vette pick-up tube fit the truck windage tray just fine.
