Default car water pump with truck accessories

After getting a L92 water pump, and finding out it will not work with my DBW throttle body, I have decide to try a car water pump. It is for 98-02 Camaros. I want to make sure I have what I need, and understand what I have to do.
The pump will need spaced out 3/4" correct?
I will need gaskets on both sides (4 total) correct?
I will need new longer bolts.
Anything else??

Seriously that should be all. Did you ever find the spacers I was talking about? I can't find them anywhere which was the second reason I was going to make my own.

That sounds like about it if you are using truck accessories.

You can see the spacers here on fleaBay - check the link for reference only:

I don't think the pulley sticks out far enough on the F-body (and early Corvette) pumps to mount truck accessories. I am using an early Corvette pump, which I believe interchanges with all F-body pumps, and the pulley barely sticks out far enough to mount my F-body accessories.

Or use a 2010 Camaro L99 pump and no spacers. But then you would have the L92 pump and 02 pump sitting on the shelf.

I bought 2 pieces of aluminium today. I have a friend with a mill. If all goes well it will only be the $12 for the aluminium. That beats $80, if it comes out right.

Can I put the pulley from the truck pump on the car pump?

I made 1/2" spacers and used an 05 GTO w/p with a truck crank pulley. If my A/C compressor doesn't work out I will get an F body pulley an eliminate the spacers.

Do you have any pictures showing the interferance between your DBW TB and the L92 pump? I had to shave just a little off the waterpump housing to get my LY6 TB to clear using the LS3 intake & LY6 (same as L92) waterpumpe.

I don't understand why pulley swapping is being discussed. The purpose of the waterpump spacers is to align the pulley that originally came on the car-style waterpump with the pulleys on the truck accessory drive. Am I missing something?

Swapping the pulleys lets you keep the mechanical fan. I wanted a mechanical and electric for my 68 corvette.

I see you discovered only the 07+ DBW TBs clear the L92 water pump too.

So, a 07+ DBW TB wil clear? Although, I have already ordered a car WP, so I guess it won't matter for me.

Do you guys not press the truck pulley on all the way? Then would just pulling the pulley out about 3/4"work as well, since I don't need a electric fan? Or do you still use spacers? I'm so confused! Also my truck tensioner, is only able two mount with two bolts now Or do you sue a small spacer and tap the boss for the tensioner?

Doesn't the pulley need to be pressed on all the way down to hold pressure, on the bearings? And if that's not the case won't it work loose being half, on half off, so to speak?
