Very nice detailed build! I'm doing a similar swap on a 70 GTO only with an automatic. What P/S Pulley did you use and did you have to space the pump back? What lower radiator hose? I'm using the same Griffin LS swap radiator.

Any one ever thought of using a C5 prop valve for disc brake swaps?? This came on 98-00 corvettes.

Would it be fine to run that valve without the abs system? That would be my only concern. I'm using a wilwood valve that's adjustable. one for like a 72 vette that had rear disk and no abs would work for sure

If you're using drum spindles, what disc brake kit, or parts are you using?
This looks like a different setup from back on pg 18??
Caught my interest as a guy came into my work today wanting to have the flange on some rear axles turned so he could get a rotor on and ditch the drum... If I can just turn some hubs down and keep the factory drum spindle, I'm down!

This was a factory disc brake car. But the factory rotors just weren't holding up to regular driving at today's speeds.
I changed the setup to
Drum spindle
Drum hub turn down to 5.94in
Hub drilled and tapped for 1/2-20 screw in studs
The brackets are kore3
C5 calipers from a junk yard, rebuilt them.
slotted centric rotors off eBay
1in bore master cylinder from a 2000 s10 RH drive.
I have less than $400 in the swap, I should be able to recover that cost when I sell the factory disc parts.

Thank you for the info... Unfortunately the junkyards here are just that... Full of junk. No LSx ANYTHING.
Between RockAuto, Ebay, and the Kore3 website, It looks like I could piece together your same setup for $489 shipped. I think that's pretty good, especially if I don't have to change my spindles.

Walbro 255 external pump, the tank is vented by the small nipple at the top of the filler tube. I run a hose from it to the frame and point it to the ground, incase a small amount of fuel comes out under hard acceleration. but... that never happens because I never accelerate hard
