No progress the last few weeks, had a few set backs. First I discovered that my drive shaft is touching the body (just barely) so I'm ordering 2" springs. With my Trans tunnel mods the 3" springs can't stay. Any one need a set??
Second, while upgrading the oil pump the oil pan as cracked while being installed, not saying any names... But he has a big block and didnt know about the fitness these LS engines require. So that's on the way aswell, found one at superchevyperformance.com for $198 (ouch)
Then it snowed Xmas day, the kids got lots of toys and everyone ate too much! Merry Christmas guys!

DC- thanks!!
Well the oil pan wouldn't come out by lifting the motor. So emergency surgery started! Pulled the motor replaced pan and reinstalled in about 4 hours. Was a lot of work but I had a good friend helping out. (He may or may not be the guy that cracked my original oil pan)

Finally had some time to get everything back together after the oil pan ordeal. Time to wire her up ad start driving it to work.
Picked up a cold air intake from a silverado, so far it looks like its going to work nicely with minimal modification.

Man that's unfortunate, I'm long hauling it all the way, I live about 15 min from where it starts this yr. I'll have to get your # before hand, I'll have my father in law in his 69 gto ram air 3 car ( that hasn't moved in 22 yrs) and my good friend thebull123's 41 Chevy rat rod with me.
