Moved the car to the front of the house... Don't want any over spray getting on the finished parts!

Layed down a first prime on the fender.

Looks like I'm going to satin black the car for now, If I want to make power tour the budget just can't handle body and paint.

Sorry I know this is an old post I'm responding to, but yes you do need to keep the o-rings. The holes in the block are oil feeds that would go to AFM/DOD solenoids if so equipped. The valley cover o-rings seal those feeds off to "delete" AFM for the LY6 application. If you don't put the o-rings in, you will have an internal oil leak which would result in a significant loss of oil pressure.

Messed with the vintage air kit a bit. Since my car was non ac with astro vents, I didn't have vents above the heater controls. And the vintage air kit placed its added vents on the bottom of the dash. I didn't care to have such low vents, wih a bit of filing and fitting I got the vintage air vents included in the kit to fit in the factory dash hole. I'm pretty happy with the outcome.

Drop it drop it low..
The pic of the back tire was before we lowered the front

It's level now. Once I paint the front end and get it on the car I'll consider more rake. Still have 5.5 inches ground clearance at the crossmember.
