Dash is done. Windows are tinted. Just need more fatmat and I can install my carpet.

The vintage air kit is working great. And I'm using the LSX compressor.

Looking good. Are you going to use a carpet kit? Just wondering because of the custom trans tunnel.

Yes I bought kit off eBay for $134. It was just a bit short so I cut it up to make it work (just the front section) hopefully an upholstery shop can hook me up with a better solution when I get back from power tour.

So you're using the stock compressor? Did you not run into issues with the back of it hitting the frame? I'd like to switch the low mount myself.

Factory bracket and factory compressor. I set it up this way when I test fit the engine and Trans. I kept hearing its hard to do or it requires crossmember mods. I found it rather easy to accomplish. Not sure what page it's on but it's all covered on here.

Page 3 covers fitting the engine and Trans. If it wasn't for the steering box I wouldn't have needed to space up the engine.

Thanks wingman, I'm finally ditching the 4.88 gears for 3.73's. should a dream to drive daily now. Ill get some pics with the carpet done and seats in.

On a sad note. I had the lower armrest panels for the rear seat and I guess they got thrown out when my nephew cleaned up some stuff for me. There goes more $ to spend on repop poo parts...

Finally did away with the 4.88 gears. The new 3.73's should give great mileage for power tour!

Doing a double check on every thing this weekend!

I've talked to a few shops. Im having a hump "cover" made that will over lay the carpet kit where i cut it.

Can you post more info on how you did the brackets and so on for the gauges. That is what I am working on and would like some pointers or templets if u have any.

I'm gone on power tour, but I will get some info when we return. Here are a few pics from the trip so far.
