Edelbrock headers for Chevelle...anyone companies still have any?
I was very happy with the stepped Edelbrocks on my Camaro and I heard good things on the A-body swap headers 65073. I know they stopped making them but does anybody know if there are any sets left at any supplier?

sdparts had them on their site still for $516.95...I ordered and it came to $530 ish. Well email came stating they aren't available. I was expecting that though and they pulled them from the site.
Also found them on another site for $734.95 w/ free shipping and 'in stock' but I'll wait until I call them tomorrow.
At $735 are they worth it bczee?

With a 70 you have way more options than I did with my 66. If I had one of these later years I would have looked hard at stainlessworks headers. They look mighty nice. not sure on fit though since I haven't researched the fit.

a friend of mine told me that a set of f-body headers work in the chevelle. i did some research and i found a few guys that used F-body headers in a chevelle. i was hoping to do the same with my ls1/t56 swap in my 69!

For what its worth, I have the Edelbrocks and ground clearance has not been an issue for me. They sit just as high as the long tubes on the previous BBC. And the car actually sits another inch lower thanks to tall ball joints from SC&C.
I will say that the passenger side is a real bear to install. And God help you if you need to do starter maintenance of any kind.
Oh...66 Chevelle
