Default 93 POS notchback build EDIT; FINALLY GOES 8S!!!

ok so my plan is to leave the car looking as is pretty much. i just got this off a buddy up in boise this weekend. it already had the aje crossmember and 5.3 in it.

i put a quick ratio steering rack in it yesterday so i could steer it around.

i ordered a ctsv oil pan for it should be here by friday.

ordered a PSI harness for it and the aje th400 crossmember.

im ordering a 10 point cage for it next week and all the piping i need from mandrel bends.com. im hoping to get this thing running by summer and nut off some 9 sec passes by the end of the year then forge the motor and soo what i can do. will keep this updated.

I love these builds.
How much does it weigh and are you keeping the rear steam ports blocked?

you know i have no clue how much it weighs right now. its completely gutted so id say in the nighborhood of 2500-2600 lbs. im shooting for 2800 lbs without me in it so right around 3000 with me in it race weight. after doing some reading i think i might unblck the rear steam ports and tie them in with the front ones somehow. thanks for looking

What's the length of the cable? I had the lokar on my carb setup but it's way too short for the truck intake. Thanks.

Cool build. Nice looking car to start with. So are you gonna toss in a 5.3 or 6.0? Turbo it now or later? I really hate when people use pics instead of simply typing out their plans.

Good luck whatever you decide to do bro!

whats even worse is when people comment without even looking at the pics.

Are those rad brackets from a Ford? They look different than the standard 5.0 versions.
