Default Shortest crank dampener?

This is for a miata ls1 swap.
I'd like to use a hollow front bar but they don't make one like the fm
Bar with those bends.
I want to keep the correct sway bar geometry and don't want to move the bar forward. So I'm looking for the shortest dampener/ crank pulley.
Any one know which one of the aftermarket one is shortest?
There has to be one without a ac pulley on it right?
I'm currently running the v8 fm bar with a slp vette pulley and Mazda competition bar mounts. The bar still touches the pulley.
Any advice is appreciated.

I assume when you mean short.. your talking about the distance from the Block to the front of the Pully.. if that is the case.. buy shorting the distance.. you also would have to alter the Accessories (PS pump, Alternator and idler).. cause they would all have to align.

Not sure if anyone make one, but seem you would have to get a whole front accessories to keep the distance from going out to far.

Did you consider that ?.. if there is something, hopefully someone will chim in with that info.

The shortest setup is going to be the 5.3L from the FWD cars... the Impala SS, etc. It's called the LS4. They run one belt for everything, and the crank pulley sits back pretty far.

I have a complete one sitting around, BTW.

Yes I have considered and executed all of that.
Like I said I've already installed and modified for a vette pulley AND
have the fm v8 bar installed and it still hits.
Trying to find out if there is a shorter pulley (distance from block to end of pulley) out there or if I should try to machine a bit off my current one.
I just don't have money to buy ALL The crank dampeners out there but I was hoping someone knew if a particular aftermarket corvette one was just a bit shorter?

The Corvette pulley is the shortest except for the LS4. You will have to use Corvette accessories with that pulley and fab mounts if you use the LS4.

I guess what wanting to know is if any one of the vette pulleys
Is just a bit shorter than the rest offered?
Like the one from asp being 1/4 inch shorter overall than the one
Slp/Powerbond makes or vice versa.
They may all be exactly the same, I don't know.
Just curious if anyone has ever measured a few of them
Trying to get something to fit as I am.

I'm also curious if the ls4 pulley bolts on and clears the timing cover.
I thought I read somewhere the crank is different and that the Id of the pulley
Hub Is bigger or smaller.

I have installed the LS4 pulley on other LS engines and it fits. The crank snout is slightly longer on the non LS4 engines so a washer is necessary under the bolt as the end of the crank protrudes slightly past the pulley when it is all the way on. All of the other accessories will have to be repositioned to align with the LS4 pulley.

The LS4 is a single belt pulley and it just clears the front cover when installed. All of the accessories will have to be repositioned to line up. The one I did was going in a Porsche Boxster so I made brackets to mount the Porsche accessories on the LS block.

I think it would be more cost effective to just shim the sway bar down enought to clear. If you are considering using FWD pullies to clear the distance should be small enough that moving the sway bar will not hinder the handling of the car. I've run cars without swaybars and unless you are road racing I think moving the sway bar would be your best bet.
