ls3 t56 victor jr question
I installed an ls3 in my impala and im wondering about my intake set up...i have a sheet metal elbow and billet nw throttlle body installed on a victor jr intake....im wondering if that set up is robbing me power?and changing to a 4 hole 4150 throttle body would make a big difference? My motor is cammed and has bolt ons...

Don't think you would see much in the way of gains on a cam that small... However, if it were me, on your car, I would put on a 4bbl type TB just so you can run a traditional style air cleaner - IMO that would look so much better!

Do I have a dyno? No but, I've seen many times people claim 40-50 hp more with a 4150 TB over an elbow type induction. Supposedly easier to tune and drivability is better and FWIW, looks good.

I agree with the other guys. From a looks standpoint, it would be hard to beat the 4bbl throttle body setup. A car that old to me just looks out of place without a carb style setup. There are a few instances where the standard ls style intakes look good, but for the most part they look out of place to me.
