Default LT1 Tranny and Converter with Spacer on LS1. Will it work?

Basically its a late 90s LT1 truck transmission as it has a 2 piece bellhousing. If I use it, the LT1 Converter and the spacer, will it function correctly in a 02 style 5.3L LS1 and PCM?

the trucks started using the 2 piece bellhousing in 96 so the electronics will work and the converter with spacer will too if you redrill or change the flexplate to match the bolt pattern

2wd you maybe right. Either way anything 95 and newer will work.

Also look for the round electronics plug on the side and PWM cast in the front pump. If you don't have the round plug and you have a square four pin plug it's a 4L60 and can't be controlled by the Gen III PCM at all. If it has a round plug but doesn't say PWM, the Gen III PCM can't control the lockup function properly.
