Default 89 Gt lq4,ls3 heads, Pat g cam w/ dyno results

Combo is

lq4 stock w/ flycut -10.5 comp
821's stock other than milled 40
dual springs with T.I. retainers
pat g cam 230/238 .600/.615 112+2
l92 escalade intake stock
92 NW t/b
1 7/8 headers 3 inch collectors w/ 3 inch x pipe/ 2 1/2 catback
c5 filter with -6 line w/ 255 high pressure pump. 30lb svo injectors
stock crank pulley
ls7 clutch
new lifters
f body oil pan
gto trans with c5 gearset
4.10 gear
rotella 15/40 oil
HEAVY Steel Driveshaft
SD tune from Tick performance

Made 45x whp & 42x wtrq. Best thing about it is it holds peak power from ~5700 to
~6800. I have yet to really beat on it as it has a serious traction problem. 3rd gear rolls end up going sidewayss.I gotta get frame connectors and some drag radials. Have some steering/ camber problems I gotta work on too. Untouched heads, untouched stock truck intake, stock dish PIstons, stock pulley, and a mild cam. I have less than 2k in the engine. Lol. Plans for later on are 30 over flat top + underdrive and some h/i porting should get her close to to 500 whp.

Huge thanks to jonathan at tick performance. He met me at the shop late and on saturday because I was could not make it there during regular hours. He fixed all my little issues that popped up also. The price was very reasonable as well. I will never go to anyone else for ls work. I highly recommend them. You wil not be let down.

Nice work.
Do you have a picture of the dyno chart and a video of the car running?

Got a few runs in finally. I went to zmax like month ago and did horrible. They only let me go one time. Said I went over the cage limit for mph.

2.16 60
8.03 1/8th @ 98.3
12.01 1/4 at 125.68

It wheel hopped and spun well past 60ft. Then I hit the limiter in first second and third. I had this stupid digital tach/shift light combo and it was hitting the limiter at 7100 before the shift light came on. shift light was set at 6800. ha

Vid of that pass here

Since then I raised up the front, put stock v8 springs on the rear with one coil cut, and got some 255/60 mt radials. I had it in the dirt in the front and some ebay lowering springs that had also been cut on the rear. I was on 275/50 radials at zmax. went with the taller tire and the 255 fits the 8 inch rim better.

Last night at farmington I made 2 passes. First was on 18lbs of air and 5500 launch. Spun like a mother in first and went sideways in second.

1.997 60
7.93 1/8 @ 100.85

So I dropped it down to 16 lbs and tried it again. heated them up more and launched a little lower. Around 4500/4700

1.509
6.83 @ 103.75

I hit the limiter in first on the 6.8 pass and cutouts were closed. Did not power shift it either. I think it has a 6.6 or 6.5 on a clean pass with cutouts open and some clean powershifts. I am happy with it tho if it never goes any faster with this setup. ha

Huge thanks to tick for all the help they gave me and the great tune. Car drives so calm and easy until you get in it. I have been in traffic on the highway twice in it now and it didnt break a sweat!

The video isn't there.

You ran 125 mph in the quarter? Great mph.
What does your car weigh?

That mph is good for 10.80's or better with traction.

EDIT: 6.83 factors to a 10.72.

Fixed the video. yea it was 125.68 but it was only 98.3 in the 1/8th. Last night I picked up 5.4 mph in the 1/8th.
