Default 6.0L oil question.

Ok so I have some amateur questions. I have a LY 6.0L with an F body oil pan in my 67 Nova. Two part question.

1) I'm looking to use a Lokar dip stick but which one do I use?

2) How many qts of oil with the LY and F body oil pan?

Use a LS1 f body dip stick.
Oil capacity for a LS1 f body, ~5.5 qts

Wasn't sure if the capacity would be different b/c of the 6.0L truck engine?

Capacity is based on what the pan holds.

Probably way cheaper to get the F-body stick.

My 5.3 with the F-body pan takes 6qts.

I believe 5.5 qts. is the capacity without filter.

lokar ED-5008, I have it installed on a LY6 with the F-body pan, would have used the factory one but didnt know better at the time, purchased with pan from S&P, you have to cut the bottom of the tube off maybe one inch max as it hits the windage tray. If you pruchase cut 1/8 inch below the step down from the oring boss. I will attach picture that may explane better.
