How big is the cooler ?.. and which car ?

I've seen a few mounted on the frame outboard under the passenger door area.. would it fit there ? How about perpendicular to the back side of the lower Radiator ?

Anywhere you'll get good air flow should work.

I made a bracket for mine so it stands about 3-4" in front of radiator and attaches from core support to hood latch bracket. Been on the for 12+ years and doesn't go through the radiator at all. No issues even with the 4500 stall.

Depending on the design ???? should.

Mine is a tube bent in a series of U's with fins like a radiator, so I didn't worry about that much.

similar to this one...

I mounted mine directly to the radiator on the outside.
