89 Notch Boosted LQ4 Complete Overhaul Well I got tired of trying to spend **** tons of money to make modular fords go fast so I jumped on the wagon, sold my 10.8x @ 128 coyote, and bought a super strait 89 notch and a 92k mile lq4. Planning on lq4/th400/91 or 88. The best part is I am building the car in my shop which happens to be the largest mustang resto and performance shop on the west cost.. My purest customers love when they are touring the shop and see my notch bahahahahhaha.. Any how here are some pics to get you started. I picked up the car in the end of july and have made some decent progress.
Day 1
Ripping it apart
AJE K member and Flaming River manual rack
Coil overs Aje A arms bump steer kit and 03 cobra brakes aje caster camber plates
Cage Time
Going for that 8.50 cert
Engine bay is ugly as hell
So ill fix it
Just buttoned up all the welding today
My wife helped me get the LQ4 out of the bed of my truck.
Lots more pictures to come I need to rework the entire engine bay then im having the whole car and engine bay sprayed. Gots to keep it fresh!!! Ill update ore later I need to take my great dane outside.... I think he needs to ****... Oh yeah I have ADD
