Why did you go with such big turbos on a 5.3? Not being a smart-*** just wondering? How far are you going to push the engine rpm's wise? I did twins on my 6.0 too but decided on smaller turbos for faster spool and my redline of around 6600-6800 with an 80e and 2800 stalled converter. I used 61mm.

I just wonder how quickly those 76mm's will spool. Good luck with the build man and post up some progress pictures.

Where and how are you going to mount the radiator?

If his 2nd gen is anything like mine, he should have enough room to mount the radiator in the stock location.. Albeit somewhat tight and with a harsh downpipe angle. Don't know about a filter on the front of the turbos though. I wonder if he is going to just dump the exhaust up front or try to run it away from the engine bay.
Looks to be a good project, I always like to see how different people tackle near-same problems/projects.

Had gotten the turbos dirt cheap. Had piping and flanges laying around from other projects. Yes the radiator fits in stock location made brackets to move radiator two inches closer to engine tons of room. Ran hot side around it. Just cut a 3" u bend in half ran down pipes straight down for now.

Figured since those are too big of turbos for a 5.3

Weld a nut to the broken bolt and turn it out by the nut. Much easier than drilling.
