Default Chevelle swap fan

I have read that late 90's Ford Windstar and 2000 Camaro electric cooling fans will both work on stock Chevelle radiators. Anyone know if one fits and cools better than the other?

Thanks

I used the Windstar fans on my LS swap...

These are from a 2002.

They fit like a glove...

I believe either would have enough CFM, but you might want to check into the dodge intrepid fans too.

Thanks for the help. I will check out the various options. By they way, do you have a diagram for the wiring?

Thanks

Windstar fans work great. Get the connector and pigtail with it.
Wiring will depend on if you want 1 or 2 speed, activated by ecu only, AC trinary switch.

I used the windstar fans on my Z28 and they fit perfectly using the original radiator.
I used silverado fans on my 72 chevelle and had to trim the corners on the fan where the hoses fit.
Other than that it fit nicely.
I would have used the windstar fans again if the other fan didn't come with the engine.

Gooker928, do you think the silverado fans pull/push more air, are more quiet etc? Our local salvage yards have both the Windstar and Silverado fans. My engine came out of an 05' Silverado.

Thanks
