Default Turbo Fox guys... Suspension help...

Posted this on another forum only got one reply saying try changing springs to softer setup. I didnt want to go to soft since its suppose to be street car but hell its dangerous when on low boost its spinning the tires at 100mph. Let me know what yas think..

I know this isnt the best way to get a car tuned up but im trying to do some street tuning in some remote locations. Im running the car on low boost around 10psi (625whp) and from a roll (trying to tune so i need a log) i am unable to get a pull since its spinning. Im running a turbo 408 lq4 with 4l80e and even trying 3rd gear pulls i started spinning. here is the setup.

Full weight 93 GT with iron block LQ4 and 80 mm turbo
Tires are mickey thompson et street 295/45/17 was 20psi (got home put them on 17)
Coilovers all the way around in stock locations
12-200# spring in front
10-175# in rear
Single adjustable strange shocks and struts rear set on 5 on drivers & 6 on passenger
Fronts set on 2
TeamZ street beast adjustable control arms and ARB (not hooked up on street but i will if it might help) set the uppers to get my pinion angle and lowers are set to my stock length
pinion angle is-1
AJE K member and tubular A arms

Like i said im just trying to get a few pulls so i can log it and make some adjustments. 3 seconds in third gear is all i need but it wont hook up.. I really didnt expect it to spin from a roll.

Any help would be appreciated.

Pic of the car how it sits

Have you checked to make sure nothing is binding up? I had an upper rear that was binding and causing all kinds of issues.

What rear gear are you running? 3:08 or 3:27?

The 17's aren't helping you much but regardless I think its important to realize that no matter what you do, rolling on casually blowing off tires is part of the equation with big power. In fact the closest Ive ever been to a bad wreck is hammering into it at 65mph and blowing off the skins. When your just cruising around the suspension is pretty well completely unloaded and wont have the same bite, nor will it load as well, as it will when you launch from a dig and carry the weight as you go. From a roll the weight is not going to transfer as well no matter what you try. Softening up the rear shock/spring may help it bite on a roll, but may hurt you from a dig, so make changes and test all facets to dial it in.

Theres many reasons why the hood is always open, and the wheels are always off most race cars at the track. You really need to set up for each day/pass/run/whatever your doing if you want to get after all of it

What was binding not sure if i understand how it could bind?

3.27 gears, i thought of trying to soften the rear shocks see if it helps.. I guess im always thinking track so thats the setup i currently have on the car. What kind of spring rates you guys running? And yes i know big power will eat tires on street but there are ways to get it to hook up im sure, just gotta figure this out.

I've found for my turbo lq4 fox that loosening the front a little helps plant the rear better, however if you loosen the front too much it will rise too fast then kinda top out and start falling back down and unload the rear and spin. From a roll like others have said its hard to get that weight transfer sometimes, if you get lucky and can get a downshift just right it can hit hard enough on the downshift to transfer the weight and keep you planted.

double adjustable shocks in the rear also help a lot and keep the rebound(extension) real loose and compression tight.

Yup, sometimes it just takes some time to get everything dialed in properly. I'm still always making small adjustaments and keep fine tuning as I go. Now I get to start all over after switching from normal coil springs to coilover springs but still stock location but much stiffer rate though. Also just changed the turbo.

front spring rate is a little high also, 150 lb is usally recommended for a drag fox, but with the cast block and turbo kit I would say throw a 14" 175 spring up front

I second the front spring is too heavy.

why not just go to the track and datalog a few runs and make adjustments from there?
