Well this just went from bad to worse... Checked my order status with Summit and both orders no longer exist in their system!!! But they took over $1000 of my money. Well, I'll be updating this tomorrow...hopefully with better news. If I can't get the pan soon I will most like return everything I already got and sell the car since my time to work on it is fast running out - kids, PhD classes and work. Hahaha. Sucks too because the system looks top notch!

Yeah summit sent me a few emails saying I needed to respond if I wanted to keep my SS headers on order still. So I just checked and they're still on order along with the swaps exhaust package............ Just keep waiting

Hey guys, I know how frustrating it can be waiting for parts you have on order to arrive so I did some checking this morning from my end on the stainless headers and was informed that we have 6 sets of the 1-3/4" version on the shelf and the 1-7/8" are being finished up now...the attached image is of the first four sets out of the production lot. I have to check with a different individual for an update on the 302-2 oil pans and I'll see what I can find out.

Yeah. Summit sent me the same email. I called Monday and was told the SS
1 7/8 headers should ship out this week. Emailed Holley concerning the rest of the SS exhaust, and was emailed back that it would be ready to be shipped the 28th of this month. I have everything else, the pan and the mounts. Both engine and trans.

Those vendor's should not be able to sell and bill parts that are not even available and take full payment how about a deposit to secure what you order then the rest when shipping time comes! This is not a jab at Holley lots of places do the same thing!

Thanks Toddoky! I will recommend. Only real snag is the little tabs on the Poly mount. It tends to get caught up on that. I'm one step closer.

Talked with Summit yesterday and the rep told me the pans are due out to respective folks like first week of February. She had to check on Monday for the headers but did say she had a note that they should be ready to go sooner. By the looks of some of the responses things are looking positive!

Energy Suspension #1130R

I have to pull it back out and redo the oil return fitting for the turbo. It turned out to be right against the subframe so out it comes.

Hey Todd,

What transmission mount did you use for the 4L80E? Was it just the generic one that came in the Energy suspension Motor mount kit? It would be cool if it does.

I used the Prothane equivalent to that mount, which is the 7-1604 part number. Even though they are both listed to replace the same OE rubber mount, the Prothane is the same height as that mount but the Energy Suspension part is taller so I didn't use it. If you use the Energy Suspension part you will probably have interference between the trans case and the tunnel sheet metal.

looks like i'm going to have to track down a set of mounts and convert from the brp ones, there are 2 spots on the drivers side and 1 on the passenger side all up against the back of the lower arm mounts and frame rail. the interference on the drivers side is preventing me from getting the header to lower the back of the header down so all the bolts align with the head.

do have to say the ground clearance looks much better and from the bottom up, the headers slipped in very quickly

My headers should be shipping today...ordered the Energy Suspension poly bricks last night. Only thing outstanding will be the oil pan...unfortunately can't do much without that! lol

I'll yank the engine and reinstall the AC suitcase for now...plenty of prep work to do in that regard.

Thanks for reporting your findings steve40, now I can include a definite note of non-compatibility with the BRP mounts in our G-body swap data sheet. I figured there would be contact issues between the headers and the frame for you with that combination.
