Default ? on factory BMW color

I know this is NOT the correct section, but……

I seen a BMW recently that was a gorgeous maroon of some sort. I couldn't tell if it was kinda like a candy apple red or candy brandy whine (or whatever they call it). Does anyone know the name/model/year its from?

I seen it in this section before and someone chimed in the color name, but I forgot to write it down. I tried a SEARCH and no luck.

thanks in advance,
Jim

That's like nails on a chalkboard, Jimbo.

Maybe this image search will help you find what you're looking for.

You need to let us know which red you're talking about.

Soory or the post guys, LOL
I cain't find it. I'll have to stop by the local BMW dealer this coming summer to see if they have one. I think the color is similar to Toyota's sizzling crimson mica

I thought this question was rather odd in a LS forum rather than a BMW forum. But you may be in luck as I have a BMW e46 in Sienarot 2 metallic aka Sierra red II. Google the first name and see if that's it.

Do you know what beemer model it was? I've got a listing of E30 colors somewhere, was trying to figure out the paint code for mine.
