Default PORSCHE conversions Check in.

Thought I'd start a thread that would list all the people converting Porsche's to LS's. That way we could contact each other and keep up with just how many are out there. Maybe just post once and list your car and maybe your build thread and if you mind contacts. Mine will be the first with information below and PM me for any questions.

I make adapters for the LS engines to the 996 or Boxster S/Cayman transmissions if anyone is interested in doing one of these conversions.

2001 Porsche 911 Convert that was a theft recovery, they stole the engine. Just what I wanted, and had been looking for. I have a 2005 GTO LS2 that I am rebuilding with forged rods and pistons. I am just getting started, so PM me with any questions.

Sub'd.

Also a former HOG/A10 crew chief, 1998-2005 Bradley CTANG, 2003 OIF Veteran.

These 996 LS swaps are awesome!!!

If anyone is in the NYC/NJ/NewEngland area, we would like to discuss getting a car for a "ARH Production 996 swap header"

We are located in Deer Park, NEW YORK, (Long Island)

Thanks very much

Well built LS6 84 944 checking in here. Car was set up for a road course racer prior to engine swap and was (and still is!) summer time DD. S2 brakes, Heavy springs, torsion bars, sway bars, Adj Koni's, and horribly under powered with the 4 cylinder. LS dyno'ed at 440rwhp and car weights 2710lbs. I used TPC for all swap parts, including long tube headers, awesome stuff!! BMW HydroBoost brakes with 944 master cylinder was used, as well as a S2 Transaxle. I didn't cheap out anywhere, but was smart with $$. Car could be reproduced for $10-12K and is seriously fast! Best part is if you're careful with your right foot, the car drives just as before the swap.

ciao,

Gord.

No plans to swap it, just a DD. If I do another swap, it will likely be an '02+ car or C4S.

Currently doing maintenance and minor repairs to get the car up to snuff. Widebody wheels, cat & muffler deletes are en route for it. After that is coilovers.

The Lambo has filters, muffler & secondary cat delete, and I swapped the wheels from Hercules to Hermera. Future plans; tint, weight reduction, 2WD conversion, lower, and primary deletes.

Yep, Lambo delivery vehicle.

During the swap I had a 2003 Murcielago. I recently picked up this one, 2007 LP640.
